Privacy Policy
IgLou Internet Services (IgLou) is committed to preserving the privacy of its customers and protecting their personal data. IgLou does not actively monitor customer use of the Internet, customer email or other customer communications in the course of its regular operations. IgLou is also strongly opposed to the use of third-party information-harvesting strategies and technologies such as unlawful wiretapping.
Information retained
IgLou keeps information about its customers such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and details about services used by the customer. All such information is considered private. IgLou also keeps logs of limited technical information pertaining to matters such as customer connectivity and email processing. These logs are retained on a temporary basis in order to ensure high-quality service, and no logs are kept indefinitely. The only circumstances wherein IgLou will disclose any of the above-mentioned information to a third party are:
- In the course of providing services our customers have specifically requested, IgLou may make some of this information available to our affiliates or wholesale & reseller partners in order to fulfill the requirements of order processing.
- In the event that we receive a legitimate, legally mandated request for customer information, IgLou will respond only within the narrow scope of that request.
IgLou will not otherwise disclose any private information about its customers to any other third party.
Text Messaging (SMS)
IgLou may send you text messages about your service to your mobile number on file. Any telephone number you have with or provide to IgLou will be eligible to receive text messages.
You may opt out of receiving SMS by replying STOP to a message you receive. Note that if you opt-out, you may miss important communications regarding your account or service, such as communications regarding outages or payment issues.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
